What AI Interviewing Agents Will Do
- Conduct full candidate screening interviews autonomously – no recruiter present
- Ask tailored questions based on the candidate’s resume, the job requirements, and the client’s brief
- Follow up on answers in real time, probe for depth, and redirect when candidates go off-topic
- Assess candidate responses against role criteria and generate a structured fit score
- Produce a complete interview transcript, summary, and candidate profile recommendation automatically
- Hand off to the human recruiter with a full brief on everything discussed
Why This Changes Everything
The biggest bottleneck in recruitment is the initial screening interview. An experienced recruiter can realistically screen 8 to 10 candidates per day. An AI Interviewing Agent can screen hundreds simultaneously, at any hour, in any time zone, with the same quality and consistency every time. This does not replace recruiters. It gives recruiters back the hours they currently spend on initial screening so they can focus entirely on the work that requires human judgment – building relationships, negotiating offers, and winning new clients.
